TECHNICAL CAMPAIGN MANAGER
SEPTEMBER 2020 // SCITUATE, MA
IN SUPPORT OF SCITUATE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS
In response to the pandemic, The One Day Campaign”, was the first ever virtual, live fundraiser for my client, Scituate Community Christmas. The goal of the one-day event was to raise much-needed funds to support the organization's year-round giving program. Holding the 2020 fundraiser virtually allowed us to maintain necessary social distancing to protect the health of our community, and also enabled us to maximize funds raised and give more directly to those who need it most.
I collaborated with the fundraising committee and Path-8 Productions to strategically plan the campaign, a Facebook Live event that raised over $30k.
I worked with a local artist (Kelly Broderick) for the graphics and as the technical lead I was responsible for the web pages, donation integration, automated communications, liaising with Path-8 as well as managing the backend of the online hand bag auction (32 Auctions). With hourly goals throughout the day, volunteers took donations online and by phone from existing and new donors. The campaign included a hugely successful hand-bag auction which provided segmented content throughout the day and allowed us to double our initial fundraising goal. After the event, I was responsible for cleaning and importing the donor data to the CRM.
